As a Planned Parenthood supporter, you may receive several communications a year from a variety of Planned Parenthood organizations. Each of these organizations plays a vital role in our mission to the community. We invited you to know and understand the role of each organization and manage your preferences on our supporter database.
Local
Planned Parenthood Association of Utah (PPAU) is your local affiliate of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. PPAU is a 501(c) (3) Utah non-profit organization committed to providing accurate information to individuals of all ages concerning the emotional and physical aspects of human sexual behavior and reproduction; providing affordable, high quality reproductive health care services; and protecting and advocating for the rights of individuals to understand and manage their own reproductive lives.
Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah (PPAC) is a non-partisan, non-profit 501 (c) (4) organization that operates as the political arm of Planned Parenthood Association of Utah. PPAC educates the public and policy-makers about reproductive health issues. PPAC participates in limited electoral activities to advance Planned Parenthood’s mission. At the national level, we work in collaboration with Planned Parenthood Action Fund which is the national equivalent to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
PPAC has a Political Action Committee (PAC) that endorses and support state and local candidates in Utah.

For more than 90 years, Planned Parenthood has promoted a commonsense approach to women’s health and well-being, based on respect for each individual’s right to make informed, independent decisions about health, sex, and family planning.
Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational and electoral activity, including legislative advocacy, voter education, and grassroots organizing.
