We’re Here With You
We at Planned Parenthood Association of Utah know that these past 6 weeks have been challenging and uncertain in many ways. We also know that we’ve seen our community come together to care for each other and make the most of this difficult time. I want to make sure all of you know that we are still here, providing health care and education and connecting with our community — even if it’s from home.
Sexual and reproductive health care is essential health care, and our 8 health centers across the state have remained open to serve patients. When COVID-19 came to Utah, we implemented new safety procedures and expanded our telehealth services so that everyone can get their needs met safely — whether it’s from home, from your car, or in the clinic as needed. Our hard-working health care staff have gone above and beyond to make sure we can live by our motto — “Care. No matter what.” — even during this public health crisis.
To make an appointment or to see all our current health center hours, visit ppau.org or call 1-800-230-PLAN.
You can also find a new page on our website with many state and local resources about coronavirus/COVID-19. Our Public Affairs and Education staff are staying connected with community partners and organizations across the state working to support Utah families. We also continue to work with teen and youth groups to provide support and education opportunities online. We hope this page will help you navigate available resources. Click here to learn more.
It will likely be quite some time before things go back to “normal”, but our commitment to our patients and our community never wavers. We want to work with you as we adjust to a “new normal” and find solutions that allow everyone to get the care they need. If you have ideas, suggestions, or questions about how we can better provide care during this time, please reach out.
As always, thank you for supporting Planned Parenthood. We’re here for you and with you.
